FAQs
What is Explorer Safaris doing for their clients?
Each valued guest has a different program, so we are ensuring that each booking is given the empathy and support required to limit the impact on customer convenience for guests currently travelling.
Can I postpone my trip to a later date?
With the pandemic largely on the decline around the world, African travel has soared in popularity – which has made availability one of the greater challenges! We suggest planning your trip accordingly with your Travel Planner so that you are able to travel when you want.
While we are doing everything in our power to give you as much flexibility as possible, supplier T&Cs may apply. Pease contact your Travel Planner to assist.
Can I amend or cancel my flight?
Most airlines are treating the fees on cancelled flights on a case by case basis. Airlines are encouraging guests to re-book rather than cancel. Subject to the airline booked we are finding most are extending refunds, but some airlines are only willing to extend postponement. Please feel free to contact your Travel Planner for assistance.
What about travel insurance?
Your insurer will need to clarify this. Explorer strongly recommends that additional insurance be taken.
