Explore a remarkable region of Africa. The Lower Zambezi National Park in Zambia is one of Africa’s most scenic wildernesses.
The lifeblood of the park is the Zambezi River, which sustains an abundance of wildlife, including elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, waterbuck, hippos, crocodiles and many more.
This is not your typical African safari vacation. A safari in the Lower Zambezi National Park is unique. The lodges here are more remote and exclusive than other more popular destinations, and the wildlife experiences are more immersive. Your accommodation at Chiawa Camp and Old Mondoro places you in the heart of the park’s prime wildlife areas, promising fantastic sightings close to camp. In fact, it’s not uncommon to see wildlife wandering into the camps themselves! Keep your camera close: you don’t want to miss these moments.
Other activities to look forward to on this 8-day safari package in Zambia include guided day and night game drives, bush walks in the company of knowledgeable rangers, cruises on the mighty Zambezi River, canoeing excursions and casual catch-and-release angling.
