Your Itinerary
4 nights in Volcanoes National Park
Enjoy daily guided game drives in open safari vehicles, in-room massage treatments, world-class wine tasting and more, or choose to simply relax in the contemplative, nurturing space of the Lodge.
For gorilla trekking, you’ll set off early in the morning (day 3 or day 4) for a 7am briefing at Volcanoes National Park’s headquarters, a short drive from Singita Kwitonda Lodge. There, you will be matched with a guide before starting your hike into the dense cloud forest for the transformative experience of coming face to face with the forest’s gentle giants. The distance of each gorilla trek is varied, so depending on which family group you are allocated, the duration is anywhere from a couple of hours to a full day.
Your final day in Rwanda rewards you with lunch at Hotel des Mille Collines in Kigali, followed by a city tour and visit to the Genocide Memorial before your departure at Kigali International Airport.
