Experience some of the best that Kenya has to offer on this 5-day luxury safari package from Laikipia to the Masai Mara.
Here, you have the ingredients for a classic safari with all the trimmings: prime wildlife viewing, conservation and community opportunities, Maasai cultural visits and luxury accommodation in the most spectacular locations.
From your luxury Laikipia accommodation at Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp, explore the Loisaba Private Conservancy on guided game drives, bushwalks, or even by camel. Don’t miss the opportunity to visit a local Samburu village. Loisaba also forms part of an elephant migration route, and is home to a healthy population of lion, as well as notable northern species such as the Grevy’s zebra, Beisa oryx and Somali ostrich.
In the Mara North Conservancy, take advantage of the preferred game drives in the lodge’s unique wildlife viewing vehicles, which have been specially adapted to enhance photographic opportunities. This private conservancy in Kenya is renowned for its conservation efforts, and for protecting the highly endangered African wild dog and rare black rhino. Perhaps you’re lucky to catch one of these magnificent animals in the eye of your camera lens!
Your Itinerary
3 nights in Loisaba Conservancy, Laikipia
The Laikipia plateau, which sprawls between the slopes of Mount Kenya in the south and the Great Rift Valley in the west, supports a staggering density of wildlife among its open savannah plains, woodlands, dramatic canyons and low forested valleys. It is also home to the Loisaba Conservancy, where your journey begins.
Explore Loisaba on day and night game drives, guided bush walks, mountain bike, horseback or on a camel safari. With Mount Kenya as its backdrop, Loisaba wild landscapes are home to diverse wildlife including the lesser-seen and rare northern species such as Grevy’s zebra, greater kudu, Jackson hartebeest, reticulated giraffe, Beisa oryx, Somali ostrich and the rare and special African wild dog. Naturally, there’s a healthy population of lion here too.
It must also be mentioned that the guides of Loisaba have achieved bronze and silver certificates from the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association and have intimate knowledge of the wildlife and the culture of the area. So, it makes sense to advantage of their specialist knowledge on a guided bush walk and learn how to recognise animal signs and tracks and appreciate the smaller creatures and flora of Africa, all while enjoying the surroundings at a slower pace.
Not to be missed is a visit to a local Samburu village to learn about the pastoralist Samburu people and their culture.
DINING SUGGESTIONS
The perfect ending to a bush walk, horse ride or camel safari, enjoy a “sundowner” sunset cocktail and delicious gourmet meal.

Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp
Luxurious Elewana Loisaba Tented Camp features spacious, custom-built tents with large windows, high ceilings and polished wood floors, adorned with chic Africana décor.
3 nights in Mara North Conservancy, Masai Mara
The Mara North Conservancy is a beautiful private wilderness area that is home to a spectacular array of plants, reptiles, birds and mammals; including elephant, rhino, buffalo, lion, leopard, cheetah and large concentrations of wildebeest, zebra, gazelle and other migratory wildlife. It also plays a crucial role in sustaining the famous Great Wildebeest Migration as well as protecting the highly threatened African wild dog and black rhino.
Explore the conservancy on specially adapted game drive vehicles, which have been refitted to provide the best opportunities for photography. You can also choose to leave the car behind and seek out the small creatures of the wild on guided bush walks. You’re in good hands as you seek out animal tracks, flowers and micro-ecosystems: all the rangers here have achieved bronze and silver certificates from the Kenya Professional Safari Guides Association and love sharing their knowledge.
For families on safari, Elephant Pepper Camp is a delight for young explorers. Leave them in the hands of the expert guides where they will learn how to make a fire, throw a rungu, fire a bow and arrow and track wildlife.
