Your Tanzania safari kicks off in the country’s largest coffee plantation. A game drive in Mt Meru National Park, accompanied by a delicious picnic lunch, makes a wonderful outing. Take a stroll through the plantation on a “Bean to Cup” Coffee Estate Tour, or ask your hosts about excursions to the historical museum, Mt Meru and the foot of Kilimanjaro. You can also choose to spend the afternoon at Cultural Heritage, which specialises in African crafts, carvings, gemstones and clothing.
