Your sensational journey begins in Nairobi, the capital of Kenya and East Africa’s most cosmopolitan city. Your home for the night is Giraffe Manor, the only place in the world where you can feed and photograph giraffe over your breakfast table, view them from your front door and watch them from your bedroom window!
If you’re keen on exploring your surroundings, venture out to the nearby museums, galleries, markets and shopping centres in bustling Nairobi. Visit the Daphne Sheldrick Elephant Orphanage, Giraffe Centre or Karen Blixen Museum. Enjoy guided walks through the surrounding forests and learn about traditional uses of the varied flora, view some of the 180 bird species and perhaps meet a warthog or bushbuck.
