Your journey culminates in the Masai Mara in Kenya. Above all, and apart from its picturesque scenery and regal Maasai people clad in striking red garb, the Mara is the scene of the annual Great Migration. Immerse yourself in the vast plains of the Serengeti and bear witness to a theatrical wildlife spectacle. However, you can expect spectacular game viewing any time of the year.

2 nights in Tarangire National Park, Tanzania
The first leg of your journey lets you catch a glimpse of plains game, lion and elephant right on your doorstep at the Sanctuary Swala Camp. Set in the heart of Maasai country, in total seclusion among giant acacia trees and looking out beyond the flat savannah, your accommodation is the perfect base from which to experience the Tarangire National Park, which, while less well known than the Serengeti, boasts its fair share of magnificent wildlife.
Enjoy morning and evening game drives, guided walks, sundowners, bush dinners and picnics. At your camp, a sparkling swimming pool offers a cool escape from the heat, while the library is a quiet spot to enjoy a good read. Marvel at the spectacular scenery as you fly high above parts of the Great Rift Valley towards your next destination: Sanctuary Ngorongoro Crater Camp. Ngorongoro is home to a large assortment of animals including zebra, buffalo, warthog, wildebeest, hippo and elephant; and an amazing population of predators – lions, hyenas, jackals, cheetahs and the elusive leopard.
Located in the rim valley of Ngorongoro Crater, your camp allows for quick and easy access to the Crater floor – perfect for early morning safaris.
DINING SUGGESTIONS
On early morning game drives, indulge in a bush breakfast before heading back to the lodge for a late lunch, or leave after an early breakfast and indulge in a scrumptious packed lunch enjoyed while on a full day game drive. You can go on full-day bush safaris and game drives with experienced guides to see wildebeest, zebra, Thomson’s gazelles, and the predators that this migratory journey attracts. Bird watchers will be enchanted by the wide variety of bird species.
