Explorer Safaris is a division of Grosvenor Tours, a leader in private, tailor-made travel and one of Southern Africa’s oldest operators arranging trips in Africa for over 50 years. We are proudly a division of Cullinan Holdings, which owns some of the premier tourism, travel and leisure brands in South Africa.

We leverage the combined industry experience, excellent supplier relationships and service-driven ethos of our parent companies to package and manage customized private tours in Africa. Through personally vetting every touchpoint of their experience in Africa, we ensure our guests enjoy complete peace of mind knowing that they are getting the best value for their investment.

We encourage responsible tourism which safeguards the places and communities we visit. We have also significantly improved our sustainable approach, with solar powered offices, the reduction of single-use plastics across our organisation and the investment into local initiatives.

Cullinan Holdings has major offices in Johannesburg, Cape Town and Durban and satellite offices and branches throughout the country and within Namibia, Botswana and Zimbabwe. The group employs approximately 2,500 staff.

We have our own fleet of luxury vehicles, impeccably maintained by Cullinan Holdings’ coach fleet, which comprises in excess of 130 coaches with a further 100 smaller vehicles, including specialized game drive vehicles, minibuses and sedans.
